She was predeceased by: her husband Harold C. Berguson; her parents, William Curtis Vaughn and Esther Jones Vaughn; her sons-in-law, James R. Callahan and Ronald Sindlinger; and her brothers, James Walter Vaughn, Donald Vaughn and Edward Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth, Edith Sindlinger of Stayton, OR, Kathleen Callahan of Wellsboro, PA, Harold A. Berguson (Linda) of Arnot, PA, Vicki Johnson (Ronald) of Germantown, MD and Laurie Hafer (Duane) of Sayre, PA; her sister Mildred Scaife of Horseheads, NY; and her sister-in-law Sandra Berguson of Arnot, PA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; along with her Patterson cousins, and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruth's memory to Gethsemane Lutheran Church in care of Kathleen Callahan, 9152 Route 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
