She was predeceased by: her parents, Irwin Coons and Ruth Coons (Harris); her son Gordon Duane Brooks; and her sisters, Mary Jane Lamonski, Margaret Hilfiger and Karen Makley Crooks.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Brooks Jr.; her children, Gregory S. Brooks (Bobbi Jo) of Covington and Gayle Kreger (David Kreger) of Arnot; her siblings, Irwin Jr. Coons (Joan) of Wellsboro and Ellen LeBlanc of Covington; and her grandchildren, Josh McCurdy, Shawn Brooks, Keith Brooks, Nicholas Deming, Brittany Seitzer, Jeremy Brooks, Lauren Stoudt, Justin and Jennifer Kreger. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
