John R. Makarsky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, at the age of 72, John R. Makarsky of Armbrust, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Makarsky and Albina Makarsky (Zupanc); his brother Michael A. Makarsky Jr.; and his nephew Robert Wentzel. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Makarsky (Moore); his children, John Jr. (Dina) of Greensburg and Nicole Sideris (Jason) of Clearwater, Fla.; his grandchildren, Madeline Irwin (Seth), Mollie and Kaleb Makarsky; his sisters, Marjorie Wentzel (Bob) of Greensburg and Dolores Makarsky of Jeannette; his sister-in-law Evelyn Makarsky of Greensburg; and his pets, Sweets and Big Guy. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Due to current events of covid-19, the family was sadly unable to comply with his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
