He is survived by: his wife Leanne Wascak (Hess); his children, Robin Gibson (Keith) of New Florence, Laura LaMore (Greg) of Grand Haven, MI, Dawn Short of Ebensburg, Gloria Butler (Patrick) of Indiana and Patrick Hirsch (Tanya) of Homer City; his grandchildren, Alex Gibson (Kathy), Rebecca Holdsworth (Dylan), Alison Irwin (John), Benjamin McClure, Ian Short (Carley), Amanda Short, Erica Lichtenfels (Dan), Cecilia "Ceci" Butler and Samantha "Sammi" Hirsch; his brother Ed Wascak (Veronica); his niece Diane Hoover (Tom); and his great-niece Shana Stiles (Josh).
