He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Edgar and Helen Hartman (Bittinger); his wife Kathleen Hartman (Plattenburg); and his brother Jay Harry Hartman. He is survived by: his children, William E. "Bill" Hartman of Hemlock, NY and Joyce A. Ramirez of Rhome, TX; and his grandchildren, Sarah Kathleen Bay, Allison Victoria Hartman and Richard A. Ramirez.
