He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Florence Dougher Smith; his sister-in-law Joan Smith; and his niece Colleen Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, William F. Smith (Blakely) and Ann Marie Fife; his niece Deborah Guenther; his nephews, Lawrence Smith (Kamal) and William Smith Jr. (Erin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kim (Ryan Miren), Sarah (Adam Lake), Sunil Smith (Holly), Steven Guenther (Chelsea) and Conor Smith.
