With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald J. Pettinato of Archbald, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pettinato and Doris Walker Pettinato. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Riddle (Cory) and Dean Pettinato (Sarah); his grandchildren, Adrianna, Emma and Adalyn Pettinato; and his siblings, Jeffrey Pettinato and Karen Gronsky (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc. (1030 N Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (1101 Willow St, Peckville, PA 18452).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to St. Joseph's Center 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
