He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Manchak and Eleanor Gates; and his siblings, Simon Manchak, Kathryn Davis and Patricia Ingerson.

He is survived by: his son Robert (Ruth); his grandchildren, Alexa and Zachary; and his brother Thaddeus "Smiler" Manchak Jr..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rich's honor to the Ambrose Revels Post 328, 426 Main Street, Archbald, PA, 18403.
