He was predeceased by: his parent Gerald Gilroy; and his siblings, Marion, Michael and James. He is survived by: his parent Marion Farrell Gilroy; his children, Michael (Monica), Ashburn, Kevin (Lisa), Boothwyn and Maureen Mills (Ron); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Isabelle, Joseph, Thomas, Gwendolyn Gilroy, Declan Gilroy, Gianna Gilroy, Logan, Colin and Molly Mills; his brothers, Gerald (Cindy), Myrtle, William (Ginna), Archbald, Hubert (Mary) and Carlisle; and also Archbald.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
