He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Geisshardt Hanchak; and his brothers, Jack, Andrew and Bill Hanchak. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Gursky Kielar Hanchak; his children, Dr. Nicholas Hanchak (Patricia) and Kimberly Lasewicz (Mark); his grandchildren, Nicholas Hanchak, Stephanie Hanchak, Mark Lasewicz Jr. (Michelle Burkholder), Matthew Lasewicz and Esquire (Erica); his stepdaughters, Dr. Katherine Passaro (Vincent) and Kendall Gessig (Bill); and his stepgrandsons, Vincent, Michael, Nicolas Passaro, Joseph and James Gessig. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
