She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Kalaha; her parents, Anita Tomarelli and Paolo Lucci; her son Joseph; her siblings, Alfred "Freddie" Lucci and Caroline Ciotti; and her nephews, Ricky Ciotti and Fred Ciotti.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Jenkins (Jeff) of Archbald, Edward Kalaha Jr. (Charise) and Karen Nicola; her grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew, Emily Jenkins, Dinah and Nina Kalaha; her nieces, Ann Marie Ciotti Fulmer and Francine Lucci; her friends, Barbara Pettigrew, Mary Ann Surdick and Rose Ann Murray; and her close friends, Linda Stoko, Nicole Melesky and Lynn Mayer.
During COVID-19, her family and Marie were faced with many obstacles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her favorite charity, "Michele's Ladies in Pink," in memory of her good friend, the late Michele Zini.
