She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Frain and Luella Bobberts Frain; her husband Clarence Raymond Painter; her son Kenneth Davis; her great grandchildren, Timothy Augustine Peace and Juliette Olivia Reed; and her siblings, Clarence, George Frain, Mona Dunmire, Bernice Bowser and Darlene "Opal" Clawson.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Wolverton of Apollo, Jeannie McKendree (Clay) of Apollo, Eileen Wilson of Apollo and Laurie Jackson (Ron) of Apollo; her daughter-in-law Catherine Davis of Apollo; and her siblings, Lawrence Frain of Apollo, Larry Frain of Apollo, Robert Frain (Claudia) of Apollo, Lee Frain (Cathy) of Avonmore, Donald Frain of Apollo, Ida Dolan (Chuck) of Apollo, Carolyn Miller of North Apollo and Althea Blystone of Spring Church. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
