He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregg Madison and Mae Madison (Stewart); and his siblings, Paul L. Madison and Helen Lofgren. He is survived by: his wife Virginia R. Madison (Shaeffer); his daughter Darlene B. Beyer (David) of Apollo; his grandchildren, James E. Hughes (Grace) of Pittsburgh, Devan Beyer of Creighton and Madison "Maddie" Beyer (James) of Creighton; and his great grandchild Ella Pitts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wayne's memory to the American Red Cross, 2801 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
