She was predeceased by: her father George Allen Stivason. She is survived by: her mother Bonnie Ann Bouch Stivason of Avonmore; her husband Eugene Merion Sowers; her sons, Eugene "Jason" Sowers of Natrona Heights, Timothy Scott Sowers (Danielle) of Bellevue and Joseph Allen Sowers of Apollo; her grandchildren, Ayden (Sowers), Alex Wozniak, Donavin Sowers, Bowen RJ Sowers, Anabel L Sowers and Hayley L Sowers; and her siblings, Victor A Stivason (Marge) of Florida, Thomas A Stivason (Robin) of Adrian and Sally A Buchanan (Brian) of Avonmore.
Private Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Spring Church, PA At the family's request, masks are mandatory at visitation.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Virginia's memory to the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, 300 E. Swissvale Ave. Pittsburgh, Pa. 15218.
