She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Metro; and her siblings, Joseph, Alex, William, Albert, Stephen Jr., John Paul Cherney, Isabelle Chauby, Matilda Cherney, Susanne Cherney O. S. F., Yolanda Cherney, Emma Gregorchik and Elizabeth "Betty" Amato.
She is survived by: her children, Paul J. Metro (Deann) of Hummelstown, Mary Jo Metro (Daniel Abate) of Chelmsford, MA, James E. Metro (Debora) of Hampstead, NC and Rita A. Metro of Kiski Township; her grandchildren, Alyssa Kidd (Justin) of Ormond Beach, FL, Rachel Davis (Brandon) of Westford, MA, Stephen Metro of Great Mills, MD, Monica Metro of San Jose, CA, Jocelyn Abate of Chelmsford, MA, Alexander Metro of Hummelstown, Jarek Metro of Mishawaka, IN and Sebastian Abate of Chelmsford, MA; her great grandchildren, Rosalie, Barrett Payton and Emma Kidd; and her brother-in-law Steve Metro (Roberta) of Sagamore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
