He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Russ" McDermott and Mary Jane McDermott (Spoor); and his siblings, George McDermott and Janet Duffy. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindee" McDermott (Armitage); his children, Amy Guido (Matthew) of Leechburg, Patricia McGee (Sean) of Oakdale, PA and Adam McDermott (Brittany) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Dayle Scott (Zachary Wolford), Allison, Kyle Guido, Madeline, Maeve McGee, Lyla and Liam McDermott; and his siblings, Frank McDermott of Washington Township and Mary Jane Slicker of Vandergrift. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
