He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Umbaugh and Violet Kane Umbaugh; and his wife Effie Mae Shaw Umbaugh. He is survived by: his children, Terri D. Warner (Kenneth Hilty) of Apollo and Theodore D. Umbaugh Jr. (Lisa) of Avonmore; his grandchildren, Danielle Love of Vandergrift, Doreen Hooks (Alex) of Leechburg, Andrew Huska of Sharon and Thomas D. Umbaugh of Brookline; and his siblings, Richard Umbaugh (Brenda) of Peltzer, Leroy Umbaugh (Shirley) of Hookstown, Allen Umbaugh of Avonmore and Doris McMahon-Bassett of Cabot. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
