It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Metsger Sr. (Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Metsger and Ruth Metsger (King); his son Robert A. Metsger, Jr.; and his brother Jack Metsger. He is survived by: his children, Loreen A. Darley (Rusty) of Parks Township and Mark A. Metsger (Rita) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Erin, Mia, Stephanie, Jesse, Alayna, Samuel, Timothy, Marissa, Nathan, Bryen and Kirsten; and his siblings, Larry, James Metsger and Joan Silinsky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions be made to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
