He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryan and Nellie May Jones Young; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Stivenson, Marcelyn Wilson and Edwin Young.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Young; his sons, Bryan Young (Lisa) of Vandergrift, Richard Young of Treasure Island, FL and Charles Young (Gretchen) of Ford City; his brother Terry Young (Martha) of Leechburg; and his granddaughter Ashley Young. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, twin great grandsons.
