Orville Shaffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orville Shaffer of Apollo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey and Myrtle Mae Hartman Shaffer; and his siblings, William Vernon, Lawrence Shaffer and Lois Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Harvey "Skip" Eugene Shaffer (Christine), Mindy Mae Shaeffer (Robert) of Palmyra, PA, Cheryl Ann Walter (Paul W.) of Galion and Samuel Neven Shaffer (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Gladys Zimmerman (James) of Mansfield and Ira M Shaffer (Louise) of Penn Hills. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Beans' memory to The Apollo Free Methodist Church.
