It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Lee (McCullough) Shafer (Apollo, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owens A. McCullough and Luella McCullough (Meckley); her husband J. Calvin "Cal" Shafer; her grandson Brandon Sulava; and her brother James McCullough.
She is survived by: her children, J. Christian "Chris" Shafer (Robin) and Anne Sulava of Apollo; her granddaughters, Carolyn, Marielle, Abigail, Samantha and Olivia; her son-in-law James A. "Shmouse" Sulava of Apollo; and her siblings, Earl McCullough of Broomfield, CO, Mary A. Prebish of North Apollo and Dottie Pearlman of North Apollo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to state mandates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation.
