It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Janczura (Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Janczura and Arvilla Janczura (Sweeney); and his sister Jackie Piper. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Janczura (Allston); and his children, Judy A. Evans (Frank) of Apollo, Michael Janczura (Necole) of Maine, Diane Crissman (Kevin) of Shelocta, Thomas Janczura (Melissa) of Ford City, Dawn Slagle (John) of Kittanning and Michelle Martin (Erik Reifschneider) of Apollo. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
