She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul L. Murphy and Ruby E. Murphy (Crusan); her husband Andrew J. Kachonik; her children, Mary Ann Kachonik and Steve Kachonik; her daughter-in-law Noreen Kachonik; her grandson Gerald Ohmer III; and her siblings, Paul D., James E. Murphy, Naoma Kim, Mildred Amey, Judy, Eleanor L. Baker and Patricia E. Bengel.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew J. Kachonik (Joanne) of Blairsville, Michael G. Kachonik (Daniela) of Tyrone, GA, James J. Kachonik (Margaret) of Derry, Robert A. Kachonik (Kelly) of Mifflin, PA, Nancy M. Ohmer (Gerald) of New Alexandria and Mary Jane Kurant (James) of Everett, PA; and her sister Barbara Shannon of Saltsburg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
