She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Coleman and Georgiana Coleman (Turner); her brother Tom Coleman; her brother-in-law Russell "Boots" Kness; and her nephew Christopher Kness.
She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Bortz; her children, Robert E. Bortz (Mary) of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Brenda J. Bortz of Kiski Township; her granddaughters, Melinda R. Bortz of California and Michelle R. Bortz of Colorado; and her siblings, E. Jane Kness of Kiski Township, Ruth Ann Shaffer of Mars, Robert R. Coleman and Donald G. Coleman of Kittanning.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martha's memory to the Apollo United Presbyterian Church, 401 1st St., Apollo, PA 15613.
