He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byers and Wilovene Byers (Clark); his daughter Susan; and his sister Dianne Johns. He is survived by: his wife Allyson Byers (Smith) of Apollo; his son Randy Byers (Audra) of Apollo; his grandsons, Zachary Byers of Apollo and Tyler Byers of Apollo; his sister Linda Myers (Zeke) of Shippensburg; and his sisters-in-law, Lindsey Hedrick (Jim Sherfey) of Caswell Beach, N. C. and Cheryl Kennedy (Bill) of Algonquin, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
