With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie M. (Young) Baker (Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Young and Reatha Young (Stitt); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Baker; and her son-in-law John Stercho. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Dunlap (Dan) of Derry and Pam Minesky (David) of Goodyear, AZ; her granddaughters, Sheena Sledge (Tyler) of Derry and Stephanie Kelley (Shawn) of Noblesville, IN; her great grandchildren, Logan and Sophia; and her siblings, Ed Young of North Dakota, Connie Parisi (Herb) of Florida, Janet Bradley (Mark) of Latrobe and Shirley Musick (Brian) of Latrobe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church (1668 PA-56, Apollo, PA 15613).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Marjorie's memory.
