She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kerns and Olive Kerns (Cypher). She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Vaia (Flash) and Korinda Dickey-Goldstrom; her grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Vaia, Bobbi Jo Vaia, Chelsea Goldstrom, Allan Goldstrom and Abbey Goldstrom; and her great grandchildren, Lena Bohinc-Vaia, Francesca "Franki" Chappell-Vaia, Vin Vaia and Ivy Vaia.

She asked that donations be made to an animal rescue league or a charity on one's choice in her name.
