With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy A. Calderone of Apollo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leroy A. Calderone to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Calderone and Mary Calderone (Venosky); his wife Shelby A. Calderone (Hamilton); and his siblings, Samuel, Richard, Larry Calderone and Louise Hollinger.
He is survived by: his children, David Calderone of Kiski Township, Leigh Ann Piendl (Barry) of Seven Hills and Steven Calderone (Tammy) of Largo, Fla.; his grandchildren, Danielle Welch (James) of Wimauma, Fla., Natalie Piendl of Seven Hills, Allison and Garrett Calderone of Kiski Township; his great grandchild Killian Welch of Wimauma, Fla.; his sisters, Mary Ann Amorino of Kiski Township, Geri Fox (John) of Apollo and Terri Calderone of Apollo; and his pet Milton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all services will be private, with Father Vincent Zidek officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leroy's name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 109 Owens View Ave., Apollo, PA 15613, or to St. James Roman Catholic Church at the same address.
