He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel F. Johnston (Hicks) and William H. Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Amy Hill (Frank) of Eaton Rapids, MI, Kevin S. Johnston of Apollo and Tammy Huston (Dave) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Kenneth Hill, John Hill, Alyssa Huston (David McKay), Katheryn Huston (Glenn Spath) and Rebecca Huston; his great grandchildren, Paxton McKay, Nova Hill and Adalyn McKay; his sister Frances E. Johnston of Lansing, MI; his adoptive daughter Kay Johnston Yette; and his grandchildren, Chris Johnston and Cheyanne Yette.
