It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June A. (Shupe) Sloan (Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Shupe and Goldie Shupe (Smail); and her siblings, Carl Shupe, Thelma J. McCutcheon, Nancy M. Shupe and Dorothy Shamberger.
She is survived by: her children, Terry L. Sloan (Linda) of White Plains, MD, Judy Ross (Sam) of Sarver and Robert Sloan (Lisa) of Port Tobacco, MD; her grandchildren, Terry L. Sloan, Jr. of Welcome, MD, Jonathan Sloan of Waldorf, MD, Marcy Granata (Anthony) of Sarver, Tabitha Reckeweg (Jeff) of Bryantown, MD, Allison Sloan of Waldorf, MD, Jillian Mangum (Anthony) of Waldorf, MD and Riley O'Buck of Port Tobacco, MD; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Robert, Dante, Dylan, Cloey, Penelope, Savannah and Justin; and her daughter-in-law Yolanda Davis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
