He was predeceased by: his parents, Plummer Nelson and Anna Nelson (Casella); his wife Grace I. Nelson (Streams); his son Gary L. Nelson; and his sister Arlene Rosensteel.
He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline G. "Jackie" Dinga (Tom) of Ford City, Eric J. Dinga of Latrobe, Tara Nagy (Jonathan) of Rural Valley and Troy Dinga of Ford City; his great grandchild Nina; and his nephew Bill Rosenteel of Apollo.
Due to current restrictions with the COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo.
