He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Mary Hemke (Williams), James and Marcella Trinclisti (Szemborski); and his uncles, Donald "Jim" Hemke and Edward F. Poleski.
He is survived by: his parents, Dale W. Hemke and Susan Hemke (Trinclisti) of South Bend; his wife Crystal D. Stewart of South Bend; his children, Madeline P. of South Bend and Austin J. Hemke of South Bend; and his siblings, Justin Hemke (Misty) of Indiana and Stephanie Hooks (Adam) of Spring Church. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
