He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Cancellare; his children, Erica Rose Paschold (Evan Peters), Michelle Lynn Paschold of Portland, OR., Charles William Paschold of Orlando, FL., Ryan Christopher Fulton (Katherine Ann Pfohl) and Zachary Michael Fulton (Hannah Marie Fulton) of Bainbridge Islands, WA.; his granddaughters, Everest Roo Peters, Adalou Lee Fulton and Erlie Wray Fulton; and his siblings, Hilmar Arno Paschold of Bayville, NJ. and Henrietta Lisa Levis (Robert) of Colorado Spring, CO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I only learned today that Helmut passed away last September. I met him first at a WBV Conference in Montreal in 2009. Besides scientific matters, we shared a common interest in music, in particular the music by Jorma Kaukonen. At the next WBV Conference in 2013 in Amsterdam, we went to a Neil Young concert the evening before. Our plans to visit Fur Peace Ranch together, I now have to do without him. My sincere condolences to Isabella & (grand)children. Prof. Carel Hulshof, Amsterdam.”
