He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick Lucas Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Kerr Lucas; his wife Grace Lott Lucas of Apollo; his children, James Lucas (Patricia) of Murrysville, Sandra Lucas of Apollo, Karen Brinker (James) of Delmont and Robert Lucas (Nancy) of Murrysville; his siblings, Robert Lucas (Betty), Matthew Lucas (Melanie) and Betty Ann LoGreco (James); and his sister-in-law Sally Dawes (Gene). He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
