Fred T. Mamros Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred T. Mamros (Apollo, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Mamros and Sophie Mamros (Koval); and his siblings, Stephen Mamros Jr., Joseph B. Mamros, Irven R. Mamros, Mary Ellen Rymarz, Irene Skupenski and Dorothy Pugh.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Mamros (Majercik); his children, Darlene Vescio (Charles) of State College, Jeffrey Mamros (Sandy) of Kepple Hill and Melissa Denhert (Kurt) of Allegheny Township; his grandchildren, Matthew Mamros of Oakmont, Alexis Mamros (Jordan Weisbeker) of Lower Burrell, Justin Vescio of State College and Aidan Dehnert of Allegheny Township; and his pet Shih Tzu. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Roman Catholic Church (109 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fred's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. James Roman Catholic Church, 109 Owens View Ave., Apollo, PA 15613.
