She was predeceased by: her parents, Sinfroso Gamboa and Ann Gamboa; her husband Thomas McCarthy Sr.; her sons, James and John McCarthy; and her sister Maria Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Earley (Mark) of Apollo, Thomas McCarthy of Apollo, Michael McCarthy (Barbara) of Hyde Park and Mark McCarthy (Lynn) of Gilpin; and her sister June Vincent of Illinois. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
