With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen K. (Bortz) Shoemaker (Apollo, Pennsylvania), born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard A. Bortz and Amelia Bortz (Mayer); and her brother Marlin Howard Bortz. She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Shoemaker; her sons, David H. Shoemaker (Michele) of Allegheny Township and Gregg L. Lemay (Gerald) of Kiski Township; her grandchildren, Haylee and Michael Shoemaker of Allegheny Township; and her brother Norman Bortz of Bell Township. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
