She was predeceased by: her parents, John Verner and Vallie Verner (McGinnis); her husband Melvin R. Spinks; her son Thomas R. Spinks; her son-in-law Brian Bence; her granddaughter Jenestine Bence; her great grandchild Dominic Bernier; and her siblings, Bob, Barney, Walter, George, Zenith, Gilbert, Sarah Bolt, Frances McNeal, Ruth McNutt, Lois Verner and Gladys Weston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Ewing (Ken) of Kiski Township and Laurie Bence of Oklahoma Borough; her grandchildren, Susan Altman, Matthew Ewing, Michele Prunty, Thomas Spinks, Jr., Tara Bernier, Brandon Bence and Angie Bence; and her sisters, Laura Such of Lower Burrell and Jane Diven of Bear Lake. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western Pa.
