He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nicolia and Francesca Ciotoli Nicolia; his grandson Patrick Nicolia; and his siblings, Anna Savo, Josephine Barilla, John, Sam and Pio Nicolia.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene A. Devlin Nicolia; his children, Cynthia Morschhauser (Bill) of Apollo, PA, Susan Steadman (Fred) of Pennsylvania, Bethann Costolo of Florida and Michael Nicolia (Patricia) of Redlands, CA; his siblings, Mary Menditto of Erie and Raymond Nicolia of Erie; and his grandchildren, Justin, Mark Nicolia, Dana Keslar (Brandon), Richard Costolo (Jamie), Kacey Costolo, Jeremy Steadman (Tabitha), Marsha Chase (Bryan), Amanda Nguiri and Sondra Hanson (Hollis). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
