He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Opfer, Sr. and Mary A. Opfer (George); and his siblings, Don Lee Opfer, James D. Opfer, Charles E. Opfer, Jr. and Betty Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy K. Opfer (Snyder); his children, James D. "Jim" Opfer (Cheryl) of Wyoming and Tracie L. Foster (Lance) of Kiski Township; and his grandchildren, Brandon Opfer (Haley) of Wyoming, Dr. Jacob Opfer (Amanda) of Montana, Brittany Henderson (Matt) of Greensburg and Kristin Foster of Kiski Township. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo, PA.
