He was predeceased by: his parents, David William and Patricia Naomi Heisel Furnier; and his brother Joseph "Joe" Furnier. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Burish; his sons, David Furnier Jr. (Stephanie) of Lower Burrell, Stephen Furnier (Jessica) of New Kensignton and Michael Furnier (Meghan) of Penn Hills; his grandchildren, Madilyn, Lillian, William, Dakoda, Nevaeh and Kage; and his brother Paul Furnier of Penn Hills.
