He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine Cribbs and Mary Gravatt Cribbs; and his siblings, Shirley Cribbs, Betty Eckman, Beverly Garrity, Evelyn Guido, Nina Lerner and Doris Hartman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Thomey Cribbs; his children, Tammy L. Gigler (Joseph) of Winchester, VA. and David Leroy Cribbs Jr. (Lisa) of Butler; his grandchildren, Joseph D. Gigler, Jesse Allen Gigler, Caressa L. Kinnear (Justin) and David W. Cribbs; his great grandchildren, Primrose Elizabeth Taylor and Gavin Oliver Kinnear; and his brothers, Blaine Henry Cribbs (Jackie) of New Kensington and James Russell Cribbs (Rosemary) of New Kensington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made in his name to the ASPCA.
