Daniel P. Schirato Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025, at the age of 71, Daniel P. Schirato Sr. of Apollo, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel P. Schirato Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelo "Ski" Schirato and Marian J. Schirato (Durand); his son Eric Chierici; his brother-in-law Tom Ralph; and his mother-in-law LaRue Mumaw.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Schirato (Colleen), Marco Schirato (Gina), Steve Harkleroad (Tiffany), Dana Schirato and Tara Fraser (Ricky); his siblings, Jeffrey Schirato (Kim), Brian Schirato (Cathy) and Kim Bash (Danny); and his grandchildren, Darius, Zoë, Lynden, Kaleb, Greenlee, Macie, Jackson, Landon and Isla. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Daniel's memory to the Apollo-Spring Church Sportsman Club, a local food bank, or an animal shelter of one's choice.
