She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Knaup and Mary Jane McQueen Knaup; her husband John J. C. Metz; and her siblings, Jessie Knaup and Charles Knaup Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Debra Wise (David), Laura Calarco (Michael), Michael Metz and Anthony Metz; and her sisters, Darlene Bledsoe, Arlene Moyer (Carter), Margie Sumpter (James) and Sharon Shannon.
