She was predeceased by: her father William Donald Aikins, Jr.; her husband Robert "Bob" Lauffer; and her grandparents, William Donald Aikins, Sr., Virginia Aikins (Tate), Benedict Wysocki and Mary Wysocki (Naccarato).

She is survived by: her mother Kathy Aikins (Wysocki) of Parks Township; her siblings, Linda M. Pawlak (Dwayne) of Brackenridge, William D. Aikins (Maria) of Lower Burrell and Tammy L. Anesin (Mike) of Monroeville; her nephews, Billy, Colin and Austin Aikins; and her close friend Richard "Speed" Clouse of Redbank Township. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
