(Plahs) Compton of Apollo, Pennsylvania, born in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Plahs Sr. and Bertha Plahs (Adams); her husband Carl D. Compton; her granddaughter Samantha Prorok; and her siblings, David "Sonny" Plahs, Robert Plahs, Frank Plahs Jr., Cathrine Plahs and Evelyn Kier.
She is survived by: her children, Scott A. Compton (Heather) of Leechburg and Jill S. Compton of Apollo; her grandchildren, Hollie Winieski (James), Dylan Compton and Lukas Prorok; and her siblings, Thomas Plahs (Rose) and Annabell Guiher (Boyd). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
