He was predeceased by: his mother Maxine Wagner; and his son Christopher W. Ross. He is survived by: his children, Amy S. Potutschnig (Jodi) and Shawn R. Ross (Angel Mrkonja); his grandchildren, Nicole Ross Fleck (Kaleb), Morgan Heinle (Brian), Tyler (Andrea), Joshua, Connor Potutschnig and John R. Ross; his great grandchildren, Kallie, Madden, Collins, Mabel and Vienna; his siblings, Rocky, James (Melda), Freddy Wagner (Tammy), Bobbie Wagner and Vicky Schaefer (Chuck); his brother-in-law Samuel Stetter (Sally); his pet Teddy; and his wife Sue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the UVHA.
