He is survived by: his spouse Pearl Heilman Longenecker; his parent Carrie Zeigler Longenecker; his children, James R. Longenecker (Nadine) of Belair, MD, Gregg A. Longenecker (Lisa) of Annville and Gale R.; his husband Michael Tice of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Kate Figueroa, Becky Henderson, Greg Tice, Rachel Thompson, Ian Longenecker, Zac Longenecker, Tess Longenecker Samantha Leahy, Laura Caporaletti, Emily Longenecker and Brenna Longenecker; his great grandchildren, Tony, Cara, Annie, Eliza, Rory, Lucas and Elena; and also Bethlehem Steel Corp.
