He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Funk and Lucy Funk (Witman); and his siblings, Geraldine DeMars, Henry, Richard, Wayne, Herman, Robert and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Linda (Calvin Nicholson) and Larry Funk; his grandchildren, Meagan Wright, Jared Nicholson and Bridget Nicholson; his great grandchild Dylan Nicholson; and his sister Dorothy West. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
