He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Gilberto and Sabastiana Ferla Gilberto; and his daughter Sandra Hollingshead. He is survived by: his wife Joan A. Bennett; his children, Robert Gilberto of Mechanicville, Linda (Tom Fitzgerald) of Stafford Springs and Cheryl Salarno of Enfield, Connecticut.; his brother Joseph Gilberto of Enfield; and his stepdaughters, Kathleen (Ron Turner) of Gap, Diane (Jack Cennamo) of Chesterfield, MA and Laura (Anthony Yannella) of Conifer, Colorado.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
